Fallujah Cultural House hosts carnival to promote talented youth

FALLUJAH, August 9 — The Fallujah Cultural House organized a carnival on Wednesday to support talented youth in an event sponsored by Fallujah Land Park. The event included showcases of handicrafts, art exhibitions, and children reciting poetry.

Majid Hamid, Director of Fallujah Cultural House, told 964: “From time to time, we organize such activities due to their cultural significance. Twenty-five artists participated in a competition, and three distinguished artworks were selected for recognition. Awards were also given for outstanding handicrafts.”

Artist Salam Filaih shared with 964: “I presented artwork inspired by Iraq’s authentic heritage and architectural decor, relying on myself, even amid technological advancements and the evolution of artificial intelligence in the field of art.”

“Original art pieces continue to offer intellectual and emotional value to the audience,” he said. “This carnival serves as a source of inspiration for the talented, encouraging them to innovate and continue evolving in the field of art.”
