Electricity ministry and UR company sign cable supply contract

BAGHDAD, January 12 — UR Company, a subsidiary of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, announced on Friday its contract with the Ministry of Electricity to supply Central Electricity with various lengths and measurements of electrical cables.

The Ministry stated in a release obtained by 964media:

“UR Company has completed its contract with the Central Electricity Distribution Company to supply electrical cables of different lengths and specifications within the specified timeframes. The company affirmed its capability to meet the needs of the Ministry of Electricity, other government institutions, and the private sector for its diverse products, including electrical cables and wires, as well as aluminum sections and sheets, in the required quantities and specifications within record timeframes.”
