Popular mobilization forces targeted in drone attack, casualties reported

BAGHDAD, January 4 — The headquarters of the 12th Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) came under a drone attack in Baghdad on Thursday, resulting in a number of casualties.

A source told 964 that two individuals affiliated with the PMF were killed in the attack, including a leading figure of the Nujaba Movement. A number of others were also reportedly injured.

The 12th Brigade serves as the PMF’s logistical support headquarters and is located in the vicinity of the Police College on Palestine Street.
