Sulaymaniyah tourism directorate to host international tourism festival

SULAYMANIYAH, August 6 — The Sulaymaniyah Tourism Directorate is aiming to attract more airlines and tourists through the city’s first-ever international tourism festival.

The festival is scheduled to launch on August 17, 2023, with the participation of several local and foreign tourism companies.

Aram Shawani, Sulaymaniyah tourism media spokesperson told 964: “Through companies that own travel agencies, we are striving to bring new airlines to Sulaymaniyah International Airport.”

“The objective of this initiative is to attract a larger number of local and foreign tourists to the city of Sulaymaniyah.”
