CBI data shows cash sales and transfers abroad surpass $212 million

BAGHDAD, August 6 — The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) announced on Sunday that US dollar sales for the day reached more than $212 million.

Data from the bank revealed that the total cash sales to the domestic market amounted to $15,980,000 million, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $196,417,010 million. Consequently, the overall sales totaled $212,397,010 million.
