Bakrajo authorities warn against illegal speed bumps

SULAYMANIYAH, August 5 — Bakrajo district authorities have notified all neighborhood administrators to prohibit the installation of speed bumps without official approval and warned of penalties for violators.

Nasih Anwar, a local administrator, stated, “We have received an official letter from the Bakrajo district directorate stating that no one should construct speed bumps on roads.”

“Henceforth, any citizen intending to install a speed bump must submit a formal request to the district directorate through their neighborhood administrator.”

“The Traffic Engineering Department will evaluate the proposed speed bump locations, and if deemed suitable, permission will be granted for installation.”

“The directive emphasizes taking legal actions against those who violate the regulations.”
