PM Sudani’s New Year message
BAGHDAD, January 1 — Today, Monday, Prime Minister Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani extended his greetings to the citizens on the arrival of the new year 2024, affirming that it will be a year of “achievements.”
Al-Sudani’s post on X:
I extend my warmest congratulations and prayers to our esteemed Iraqi people, invoking the Almighty to protect them in our beloved Iraq.
As we enter a new year, carrying the aspirations of our people, we hold onto hope and determination. We renew our commitment to make this year one filled with progress, hard work, and contribution, aligning with the government’s program and executive priorities. It is a government committed to services, reforms, and fulfilling the requirements and needs that meet the aspirations of citizens throughout this cherished nation.
Our new year will be a year of achievements, by the grace of the Almighty. It will be a year of turning plans into tangible actions, reaping the fruits of efforts, and meeting the aspirations of our citizens everywhere.
May God safeguard Iraq, strong, dignified, and prosperous.
