Polling stations marking end of provincial council elections across Iraq

BAGHDAD, December 18 — Polling stations across Iraq closed promptly at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, marking the end of voting in the country’s provincial council elections.

Polling centers opened their doors at 7 a.m. in 15 governorates to accommodate over 15 million eligible voters who officials urged to cast ballots.
