Rwandz plants trees with a musical twist

RWANDZ, ERBIL, December 17 — In the scenic district of Rwandz, the German Goethe Institute and the Institute of Fine Arts have joined efforts for a unique environmental initiative. Amidst a backdrop of musical melodies, numerous trees were planted in the soil of Rwandz, symbolizing a blend of artistic expression and ecological awareness.

Chiayi Mohammed, the Mayor of Rwandz, shared with 964 the vision behind this initiative. “Our goal is to enrich the environmental landscape of Rwandz, creating a space where nature and culture intersect harmoniously,” he stated, underlining the project’s significance.

Representing the Goethe Institute, Mina Bazrgan explained the broader impact of their collaboration. “Our project is an integration of music, arts, and environmental consciousness. Starting in Rwandz, we are committed to expanding this program throughout Iraq, with a focus on fostering greener urban spaces,” Bazrgan told 964.

This innovative endeavor in Rwandz stands as a testament to the power of creative collaborations in promoting environmental well-being, resonating the message that ecological initiatives can be both impactful and culturally enriching.
