MP expresses concerns over serious election result delay

BAGHDAD, December 17 — MP Basim Khashan said on Sunday that the absence of electronic voting results is a serious error, expressing uncertainty about how the electoral commission plans to address it.

“The absence of election results due to a malfunction in the devices is a serious error. I don’t know how the commission will address it, but in any case, the election results for the Muthanna Public Coalition are very promising, and this is confirmed news. We hope that this error will be corrected because we are committed to these elections, as we hope their results will eliminate corruption in the province.”
