Raperin environmental office initiates a tree-planting campaign

RANYA, December 10– The Raperin Environmental Office (ERO) has planted 400 poplar trees along the university street.

In a month-long campaign, the ERO has garnered participation from companies, institutions, offices, and citizens. Mohammed Karim, the director of the Raperin Environmental Office, informed 964 that the tree planting marks a crucial step in their ongoing initiative to amplify green spaces.

As per data from ERO, the current greenery rate in Raperin stands at 10%, with some areas registering even lower levels.

Responding to inquiries from 964 regarding the maintenance and care of the newly planted greenery, the director of the Raperin office stated, “We will only proceed with planting in areas where we are assured of adequate water supply and service.”
