BAGHDAD — Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi received an invitation from Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni to visit Rome on Thursday, delivered by Italian Ambassador Niccolò Fontana alongside a congratulatory letter on the formation of the new government.
The meeting addressed bilateral relations and ways to develop cooperation in economic, industrial and scientific fields, according to a statement from Zaidi’s media office.
