Scattered clouds, cooler temperatures reported across Iraq

BAGHDAD — Iraq’s Meteorological Authority issued its forecast for Saturday and the coming days, reporting clear and stable weather across most of the country, with scattered clouds appearing in limited parts of the northern and southern regions.

Temperatures are expected to drop slightly by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius compared with the previous day. Conditions are likely to be cool in the early morning, turning mild during the day, and colder in mountainous areas.

Winds will be southwesterly at light to moderate speeds, ranging between 10–20 kilometers per hour. Periods of calm are expected in the northeastern and central sections of the country.

Horizontal visibility is forecast to range between 8 and 10 kilometers in most areas.
