Kurdistan Region to distribute August salaries after receiving funds from Baghdad

ERBIL, November 2 — The Ministry of Finance in the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) announced on Thursday it would distribute salaries for public employees for the month of August on Saturday, after receiving 200 billion Iraqi dinars from the federal government.

The ministry issued a statement, which said:

Rafidain Bank transferred 200 billion dinars to the ministry’s bank account.

The distribution of employees’ salaries for the month of August will commence on Saturday, November 4, and will continue until Thursday, November 9.

These salaries are distributed with the sent amount in addition to internal revenues.
