Islamic Resistance in Iraq claims attack on American base

BAGHDAD, October 26 — A group calling itself the Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced that it had targeted the Ain Al-Assad base in a drone attack.

A release from the group said:

In the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful. Permission has been given to those who fight because they have been wronged, and indeed, God is able to grant them victory.

The Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq targeted the American occupation base, Ain Al-Assad, in western Iraq, with a drone, which directly hit its targets.
