Spectacular display of modern and vintage cars draws enthusiastic crowds in Basra

BASRA, October 21 — Basra witnessed a dazzling display of modern sports cars and vintage classics from renowned international manufacturers dating back to the 1960s, amidst a large and enthusiastic audience on Friday.

The event was organized by five groups whose passion for sports and classic cars drew a sizeable crowd. On display were cars such as the Dodge Challenger, Chevrolet Camaro, and Jeep, in addition to classic cars like the Rolls-Royce.

Mustafa Saad, an attendee and exhibitor, shared: “I received an invitation to participate in the display from the Monster team, to showcase my car. This is the first time I have participated in such a display.”

Saad showcased his 1969 Rolls-Royce, in its original condition. The car’s current market value is estimated at $200,000, based on its rarity and excellent condition.

Ali Hussein, another attendee, said: “I’ve had a deep passion for cars since childhood, and it led me to attend this exhibition to learn more about modern cars and the modifications they undergo. It’s truly wonderful to meet people who share the same interests, and the most fascinating aspect of this event was the classic cars.”
