Sudani discusses healthcare services with Kurdish health minister

BAGHDAD, October 17 — Prime Minister Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani held discussions on Tuesday with the Minister of Health for the Kurdistan Region, Saman Hussein Barzanji. The meeting, which also included Federal Health Minister Saleh Al-Hasnawi, focused on improving healthcare and medical services provided to citizens across the country.

“Prime Minister Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani received the Minister of Health in the Kurdistan Regional Government, Mr. Saman Hussein Barzanji, in the presence of Federal Health Minister Mr. Saleh Al-Hasnawi.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Al-Sudani emphasized the government’s commitment to the healthcare sector, placing it among its top priorities. The aim is to enhance and develop the level of medical and healthcare services provided to citizens nationwide.

Prime Minister Al-Sudani stressed the importance of ongoing coordination between federal health departments and those under the Kurdistan Region’s health authority.
