Prime Minister Al-Sudani extends Newroz greetings, emphasizes ‘unity’ and ‘progress’
BAGHDAD – Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani extended his best wishes to the people of Iraq, particularly the Kurdish community, in celebration of Newroz, highlighting the spirit of unity and a shared future.
“Warmest wishes to all people of Iraq, and especially to the Kurdish people, on the occasion of Newroz,” Al-Sudani said in a statement. “May the Almighty bless us all with goodness as Iraq thrives in stability and security, moving toward a bright future through the efforts of its united people.”
Kurdish leader Masoud Barzani, Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid and KRG Prime Minister Masrour Barzani also extended their Newroz greetings in statements today.
