Art exhibition showcases the diverse natural beauty of Basra

BASRA, October 15 — A total of 20 artists participated on Saturday with 25 paintings depicting the incredibly diverse aspects of nature in Basra. The art exhibition, titled “Landscape,” took place in the Algerian Quarter in the city center, and was attended by artists and students from the Institute of Fine Arts.

Hamed Saeed, a visual artist, commented:

“The current generation is excellent artistically, and there has been significant development due to the openness and the ease of learning about the outside world through the internet.

The exhibition featured 20 artists showcasing 25 different works, including oil and acrylic paintings, as well as collages created by blending various materials. All of the works depicted the remarkable nature of Basra, and the exhibition received a very positive response.”
