To make it visible for the drivers
Baghdad municipality illuminates street 60 entrance with lighted sculpture
BAGHDAD, October 15 — Baghdad Municipality has installed a lighted sculpture at the entrance of Street 60 in the Al-Dora area, adjacent to the highway, to make it easier for local residents to recognize it when they return at night.
The entrance was previously dark and not easily distinguishable. Baghdad Municipality placed a series of illuminated signs to clarify the features of the Street 60 entrance from the direction of the highway, enhancing the area’s aesthetics.
Over the years, the entrance had been shrouded in darkness. However, now it has been equipped with illuminated signs, making it visible to everyone.
A source from Baghdad Municipality stated:
“We completed the lighting project for the Street 60 entrance in a short period. There was a desire to add lighting to enhance the aesthetics of the area’s entrance, which was previously dark. We added colorful illuminated signs, electrical wiring, and an iron structure, completing the project beautifully.”
Abdullah Raad, a resident of the area, said:
“The project has enhanced the aesthetics of the area’s entrance, which was previously dark. It has given the entrance from the direction of the highway a distinct appearance. We call on Baghdad Municipality and the Al-Dora Municipal Department to provide more services to the residents of the Al-Dora district in its various areas.”
