Nearly $9 billion in revenues reported
Iraqi Ministry of Oil releases August export and revenue figures
BAGHDAD, September 26 — Iraqi crude oil exports for August amounted to 106,122,679 barrels, generating nearly $9 billion in revenue according to data issued by the State Organization for Marketing of Oil (SOMO).
The statistics further detailed that crude oil exports from oil fields in central and southern Iraq reached 105,236,963 barrels, while the quantities exported from the Qayyarah field were 420,991 barrels. Additionally, oil exports to Jordan amounted to 464,725 barrels.
The average price per barrel stood at $84.787.
The exported quantities were loaded by 38 international companies of various nationalities from the ports of Basra, Khor Al-Zubair, and single-point moorings, as well as from Kirkuk via tanker trucks and from the Qayyarah field.
