Masoud Barzani marks anniversary of 2017 independence referendum

ERBIL, September 25 — Kurdish Democratic Party (KDP) leader Masoud Barzani marked the sixth anniversary of the 2017 Kurdish independence referendum on Monday.

In a post to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, Barzani said: “Today marks the anniversary of the day on which the will of the people prevailed.”
