Iraq Central Bank reports over $278 million in foreign currency sales
BAGHDAD – The Central Bank of Iraq announced Thursday that its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions exceeded $278 million at the official exchange rate of 1,310 Iraq dinars per $1.
Total domestic cash withdrawals amounted to $10,400,000, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $267,861,086, according to the bank’s data. The overall sales totaled $278,261,086.
