Price of mangoes reduced by half
Customers rush to buy affordable mangoes in Mosul
NINEVE, September 17 — Customers in the left side of Mosul are rushing to buy “mangoes” after the price per kilogram was reduced by half. Some residents say they had never heard of this fruit before, as it was known among the affluent due to its high price.

“This week witnessed a drop in mango prices for the first time in Mosul. The price per kilogram has dropped by half, prompting many to buy them.”
“Many Mosul residents had never heard of ‘mangoes’ before, but after the price dropped, the cost per kilogram reached 2,000 dinars, down from 6,000 dinars.”
“We import this fruit from Africa, and the best quality available in the market right now is Egyptian mangoes.”
