Iraq Central Bank reports over $268 million in foreign currency sales
BAGHDAD – The Central Bank of Iraq announced Tuesday that its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions exceeded $268 million at the official exchange rate of 1,310 Iraq dinars per $1.
Total domestic cash withdrawals amounted to $3,350,000, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $264,954,025, according to the bank’s data. The overall sales totaled $268,304,025.
