Iraq’s central bank reports over $275 million in foreign currency sales
BAGHDAD — The Central Bank of Iraq announced on Thursday its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions, amounting more than $275 million at the official exchange rate set at 1,310 IQD per USD.
According to the bank’s data, total domestic cash withdrawals amounted to $ 21,510,000, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $ 253,556,650. The overall sales totaled $ 275,066,650.
