Iraq’s central bank reports over $280 million in foreign currency sales
BAGHDAD — The Central Bank of Iraq announced on Thursday its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions, amounting more than $280 million at the official exchange rate set at 1,310 IQD per USD.
According to the bank’s data, total domestic cash withdrawals amounted to $25,780,000, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $255,092,080. The overall sales totaled $280,872,080.
