Iraq’s central bank reports over $277 million in foreign currency sales
BAGHDAD — The Central Bank of Iraq announced on Wednesday its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions, amounting more than $277 million at the official exchange rate set at 1,310 IQD per USD.
According to the bank’s data, total domestic cash withdrawals amounted to $21,950,000, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $255,828,717. The overall sales totaled $277,778,717.
