Iraq’ central bank reports dollar sales exceeding $281 million
BAGHDAD– The Central Bank of Iraq announced on Thursday its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions, totaling more than $281 million at the official exchange rate of 1,310 IQD per U.S. dollar.
According to the bank’s data, the total amount of internal cash withdrawals was $22,040,000, while the total amount of money transferred abroad, including transfers and credits, was $259,094,221. The total sales amounted to $281,134,221.
