Iraq’s central bank reports dollar sales over $277 Million
BAGHDAD–The Central Bank of Iraq announced on Monday its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions, totaling more than $277 million at the official exchange rate of 1,310 per U.S. dollar.
According to the bank’s data, internal cash withdrawals amounted to $23,350,000, while total amounts transferred abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $253,814,362. The total sales for the day reached $277,164,362.
