Iraqi professors awarded patent for Parkinson’s fall detection system
WASIT, September 4 — The Ministry of Higher Education announced on Monday that four professors from the Central Technical University in the capital city, Kut, have been granted a patent for designing and implementing a precise wireless system for detecting falls in Parkinson’s patients.
Parkinson’s disease is a neurological condition that causes mobility issues, balance problems, and sudden uncontrolled falls, making it challenging for those affected to maintain control over their bodies.
