Central Bank of Iraq announce currency sales of $261 Million

BAGHDAD– The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) announced on Wednesday that it has sold over $261 million currency during one-day transactions at the official exchange rate of 1,310 dinars to the U.S. dollar.

The data released by the bank detailed that domestic cash withdrawals amounted to $14.12 million. Meanwhile, the total for external transactions, which encompasses remittances and credits, reached approximately $247.25 million, totaling $261,374,070.
