Central bank of Iraq reports currency sales of $252 million

BAGHDAD– The Central Bank of Iraq announced on Sunday currency sales, which reached approximately $252 million in one-day transactions, according to the official rate of 1310 dinars per U.S. dollar.

The bank’s data revealed that total domestic cash withdrawals amounted to $13,310,000, while the total amounts for overseas transfers, including remittances and credits, stood at $239,109,928. Consequently, the total sales amounted to $252,419,928.
