Central Bank of Iraq’s currency sales reach $251 million
BAGHDAD — The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) announced on Thursday its currency sales amounted to approximately $251 million in one-day transactions, according to the official exchange rate of 1,310 dinars per U.S. dollar.
Bank data revealed that total domestic cash withdrawals stood above $6.5 million. Meanwhile, the total amount for foreign transfers, including remittances and credits, reached nearly $245.2 million. Total sales for the day were over $251.7 million.
