Iraqi central bank reports over $240 million in foreign currency sales

BAGHDAD — The Central Bank of Iraq announced on Sunday its foreign currency sales, totaling more than $240 million in today’s transactions, according to the official exchange rate of 1310 dinars to a dollar.

Bank data revealed that the total cash withdrawals amounted to $10,270,000. Meanwhile, the total amounts for overseas transfers, including remittances and credits, reached $230,445,778. The overall sales for the day stood at $240,715,778.
