Halabja investment directorate announces 50 project opportunities

HALABJA – The Halabja General Directorate of Investment has announced 50 opportunities for project implementation within the governorate, covering sectors such as agriculture, tourism, industry, commerce, and services.

Zanyar Hama Nouri, the General Director of Investment in Halabja, told 964media that for more than three months, preparations have been in progress for the 2024 plan to accurately identify projects that align with Halabja’s needs.

He said, “We provide support for any investor interested in undertaking one of these projects in Halabja.”

He added that they offer all necessary assistance and legal processes, working in coordination with relevant departments and directorates to aid investors in their projects.

An assessment by 964media of projects previously implemented in Halabja from 2006 to 2024 showed that only nine investment projects were completed. The Director of Investment is optimistic that the 2024 plan will initiate several more projects in Halabja.
