Emergency unit in Daquq to combat rising theft and robbery
DAQUQ, Kirkuk — In response to the recent surge in theft and robbery incidents, the Kirkuk Police Command inaugurated a new emergency police department in Daquq on Friday. This strategic move aims to bolster local security measures and curb the escalating crime rates in the area.
Abdul Sattar Al-Azzi, the district commissioner of Daquq, spoke to 964media about the initiative, “Following an increase in theft and robbery cases in various parts of the district, we approached the Kirkuk Police Command with a request to open an emergency police unit.”
