SULAYMANIYAH, January 30 – An individual was arrested in Sulaymaniyah’s Barzinja sub-district for allegedly illegally cutting down trees, some of which are reportedly over 15 years old, according to local police.

This incident follows a similar case earlier this week, where the same police directorate arrested an individual accused of cutting down numerous oak trees, some over a century old.
