Central Bank of Iraq announces foreign currency sales over $208M

BAGHDAD, January 29 — The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) announced its sales of hard currency on Monday amounted to over $208 million in one-day transactions, at the official rate of 1,310 dinars per dollar.

Bank data revealed that total cash withdrawals reached nearly $14.5 million, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, amounted to $193.5 million. Overall sales reached just over  $208 million.
