Central Bank of Iraq foreign currency sales reach over $220M

BAGHDAD, January 25 – The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) announced on Thursday its sales of foreign currency, which exceeded $220 million in transactions, according to the official bank rate of 1,310 dinars to the dollar.

The bank’s data showed that total cash withdrawals amounted to $10,540,000, while the total amounts of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, were $209,481,732. Consequently, total sales reached $220,021,732.
