Partly cloudy weather and scattered rain expected across Iraq

BAGHDAD — Iraq’s Meteorological Authority on Monday issued a weather report indicating partly cloudy conditions with intermittent clear skies across the country, alongside increased chances of light to moderate rain in various areas of the central and northern regions.

The report noted the possibility of light rain in limited parts of the south as well. Temperatures are expected to remain similar to the previous day across all regions.

Wind patterns will be variable and light to moderate, ranging between 10 to 20 kilometers per hour. Northern areas may experience occasional calm periods. In western regions, winds are forecast to gradually shift to northwesterly, with this change extending to other areas.

Horizontal visibility is generally expected between 8 and 10 kilometers but may drop to 4 to 6 kilometers in the morning due to haze formation.
