Saudi club to take on Iraq in next match

Al-Nassr Club advances to Arab Club Champions Cup semi-finals with victory over Al-Raja

ERBIL, August 7 — Saudi soccer club Al-Nassr advanced to the semi-finals of the Arab Club Champions Cup, after defeating Moroccan team Al-Raja 3-1. They will now face the Iraqi Police team in the semi-finals.

Al-Nassr started ahead with a goal by Portuguese player Cristiano Ronaldo in the 19th minute. Sultan Al-Anezi added another goal in the 29th minute. In the 38th minute, Seiku Fofana secured a third goal for Al-Nassr. Meanwhile, Al-Raja scored their only goal through an own goal by Al-Nassr’s player Abdullah Madu.

Next Wednesday, Cristiano and his teammates will face the Iraqi Police team to determine the first finalist of the tournament.
