PM attends Iraqi army’s 103rd anniversary parade
BAGHDAD, January 6 — Prime Minister Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani attended the military parade today, Saturday, commemorating the 103rd anniversary of the establishment of the Iraqi Army. The event took place in the celebration square in the capital, where he extended greetings to all branches of the army.

Under the patronage and presence of Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani, a large military parade was held in the capital, Baghdad, on Saturday, commemorating the 103rd anniversary of the establishment of the Iraqi Army.
His Excellency saluted units and groups of fighters representing various branches of the Iraqi Army, including armored and specialized weapons, field weapons, formations, supporting and technical devices, and the naval force. Meanwhile, various aircraft of the Iraqi Air Force and helicopters from the Army Aviation soared through the skies of Baghdad.
In front of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, units and formations representing the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), the Counter-Terrorism Service, and various formations of the Ministry of Interior were showcased. Notable among them were the Federal Police, Rapid Response, Police College, and other combat leaders within our heroic armed forces. The event was attended by several ministers, officials, military and security leaders, governors, union leaders, and representatives from diplomatic missions operating in Iraq.
