Al-Sudani discusses military armament development plans

BAGHDAD, December 31 — Today, Sunday, Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani discussed plans for the development of the armament of the security forces with various military leaders.

Statement from Al-Sudani’s office:

Prime Minister Mr. Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani presides over a meeting to discuss plans for the development of armament for the armed forces.

Prime Minister Mr. Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani chaired a meeting on Sunday morning dedicated to discussing the approved armament plans for the armed forces in all their forms.

He was briefed on a comprehensive presentation of the most important armament needs of our armed forces, including the required qualitative and technical aspects.

The meeting also witnessed a review of the approved armament plans, the essential requirements for updating and development, plans for the coming year, and the financial allocations and resources needed to secure armament at various levels and types.
