Rain in north and south Monday and Tuesday before clearing mid-week

BAGHDAD — Iraq will see partly to fully cloudy skies with light to moderate rain in northern and southern regions and eastern parts of central Iraq on Monday, the General Authority for Meteorology said, with similar conditions continuing Tuesday before a clear spell from Wednesday onward.

Monday maximum temperatures will range from 21°C in Duhok and Sulaymaniyah to 35°C in Dhi Qar. Tuesday will bring continued cloud cover and rain in the north and south, with heavier rainfall possible in the south in the afternoon, temperatures dipping slightly in central and northern regions and rising slightly in the south. Wednesday will be clear with some clouds nationwide and temperatures holding steady in central and northern areas, dipping slightly in the south. Thursday will remain clear with some clouds and a slight temperature rise across the country.
