Bus carrying university students overturns in Duhok with 14 injured

DUHOK — A bus transporting students from Amedi district to Zakho University overturned Monday morning in Sarsing subdistrict, Duhok, following heavy rainfall, injuring 14 female students.

A source at Azadi Teaching Hospital told 964media that “all injuries are minor, affecting areas such as the hands, legs, neck, and back,” with all patients in stable condition and their families present. Zakho University President Diyar Halo said the university is providing medical support and making arrangements for students’ studies and attendance.
