Kurdistan Democratic Party officially hands over headquarters in Kirkuk to university

KIRKUK, November 5 — Today, Sunday, the Kurdistan Democratic Party officially handed over its headquarters in Kirkuk as a gift from leader Masoud Barzani to the University of Kirkuk.

This event took place during a press conference attended by Deputy Speaker of Parliament Shakhwan Abdullah, the President of the University of Kirkuk, and several political and party leaders.

The President of the University of Kirkuk, Imran Jamal, stated during the press conference:

“The university was in dire need of a site, buildings, and space of this magnitude to establish faculties for oil, gas, and media.”
