Fall conditions in Iraq with mild temperatures and dusty winds

BAGHDAD — Iraq’s Meteorological Authority reported relatively clear weather conditions on Monday, with a dust wave affecting central and southern regions and partly cloudy skies in the north. Light rainfall is also possible in some areas in the Kurdistan Region.

According to the report, temperatures have dropped by about 3 degrees Celsius in central and northern parts of the country, while southern areas recorded a slight increase.

Conditions remain mild at night and in early morning hours, with warmer temperatures during the day. Mountainous regions continue to experience cooler weather.

Winds in western Iraq are northwesterly and moderate, ranging from 20 to 30 km/h, occasionally stirring dust in some areas. Winds across the rest of the country are variable in direction.

Horizontal visibility is expected to decrease in the morning due to dust and pollutants, ranging between 5 and 7 kilometers.
