Hot conditions to continue with a slight decrease

BAGHDAD — The Iraqi Meteorological Authority reported that Wednesday’s weather across Iraq will be characterized by hot summer conditions during the day and moderate temperatures at night, influenced by the extension of a seasonal thermal low-pressure system.

According to its daily report, temperatures are registering a slight decrease compared to yesterday, averaging 1-2 degrees Celsius lower, while rising slightly in central and southern regions.

The report forecasts northwesterly winds that will be light to moderate in speed, ranging between 10-20 km/hour, with temporary increased activity in the central and southern parts of the country causing light dust to rise. Northern regions, including the Kurdistan Region, are expected to experience periods of calm conditions with variable wind directions.
