Al-Sudani, Saudi crown prince discuss Gaza crisis, bilateral ties in phone call

BAGHDAD — Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani held a phone call Tuesday with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to discuss regional developments, including the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, and efforts to deepen bilateral cooperation.

According to a statement from the prime minister’s office, the leaders reviewed ties and agreed to enhance cooperation “across various sectors to achieve common goals and benefit the peoples of both brotherly nations.”

Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani held a phone call today, Tuesday, with His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The call discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance them across various sectors to achieve common goals and benefit the peoples of both brotherly nations.

The two leaders also reviewed regional and global developments, emphasizing the importance of coordination on key issues—particularly the humanitarian situation in Gaza—and reaffirmed their continued efforts to address the underlying causes affecting the region’s stability and security.
